Voting Rights

BlockX holders vote on material decisions affecting their property trust, including a proposed sale, major capital works or a change of trustee.

Voting is one vote per Block held on the record date for the resolution.

Ordinary resolutions pass on a simple majority of votes cast; a sale before the stated minimum hold period requires a 75% majority.

Notice of any vote, along with supporting documents, is provided to holders through the investor dashboard.

Frequently asked questions

Are Blocks a guaranteed investment?

No. Blocks are not bank deposits and are not guaranteed. Property values can fall as well as rise, and rental income can be reduced by vacancy, arrears, maintenance and changes in law or tax.

What legal structure sits behind each property?

Each property is held by a single-property trust that issues 10,000 Blocks. Each Block represents an equal beneficial ownership share in the property, its rental income and its net sale proceeds.

What rights do Block holders have?

Holders vote on material decisions such as a proposed sale, major capital works or a change of trustee — one vote per Block held on the record date.

How is my personal data handled?
